The SmartBird is our flying-wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). It is bungee launched and is powered with an electric motor. The motor is mounted at the back of the aircraft making safer and less likely to interfere with cameras. The SmartBird is designed to fly a user defined route called a flight-plan. The flight-plan consists of a list of locations called waypoint, defining the path to be flown. Apart from being pulled back on the launch bungee, the SmartBird flies completely unaided.
